Good day Ted:
Sent you
some pictures of the family with Adamo. I have a story to tell
you.
My four-year-old and her older sister were playing out in our yard
(there's 4,000 sq feet of lawn). There is a 5 foot chain link
fence around the yard area to keep the wild aminals out (we live in
the back
country).
A neighbor jumped over the fence and started to approach my
four-year-old. Adamo jumped up and just stood there with his hackels
up. The neighbor started to walk toward my daughter, and Adamo started
barking
and growling. My older daughter told Adamo to sit since she
knew the
boy, and Adamo went to the sit with one word. She
gave him the down command and he layed down. The neighbor learned that
he
should come in through the gate and not just jump the fence.
The
next
day
my oldest daughter Kristy heard a strange noise on the outskirts
of our property. She placed his work collar on with his leash and
proceeded towards the noise. Adamo walks so well with her; she has
even
stated
she feels very safe with Adamo in the yard. There was a injured
cat that had been attaked by the coyotes. Adamo went into a defense
stance
right away and my daughter saw the coyotes and screamed.
Adamo went
to the end of his 6' leash and went into a defense posture,
barking and growling. The coyotes left, and Kristy and Adamo came running
back
to our yard and called me. My neighbor and I took our
weapons and went back to the area with Adamo. I placed Adamo
on
a protection order and waited. We did not see the coyotes again
but we
did take
care of the injured cat.
All that I can say is Adamo is the
greatest. Thanks.
